    Stuffed Mushrooms

    Ingredients

    1 lb. fresh mushrooms
    1/4 cup finely chopped onion
    1/4 cup butter
    1 1/2 cup fine bread crumbs
    1/4 cup shredded Mozzarella cheese
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. turmeric
    1/4 tsp. white pepper

    Directions

    Remove stems from mushrooms and chop them
    finely.  Saute chopped stems and onion in 3
    tablespoons butter until tender.  Remove from
    heat; stir in the rest of ingredients (except
    mushroom caps).  Fill mushroom caps with
    mixture.  Place in baking pan, filled side up.  Bake
    at 350 for 20 minutes.
    Serve Hot
