    Grandma's Mustard Sauce

    Ingredients

    2/3 cup whipping cream
    1 1/2 Tbsp. dry mustard
    1/3 cup sugar
    3 egg yolks, beaten
    3 Tbsp. vinegar

    Directions

    Scald whipping cream; remove from heat.  
    Dissolve mustard in a little cold cream; add
    mustard, sugar, egg yolks and pinch of salt to the
    cream.  Stir.  Add vinegar.  Return to stove, bring
    to a boil, and stir until thick. Keeps in the
    refrigerator for weeks.
