Turkey Meatballs with Cranberry-Apricot Sauce Ingredients 1 lb. ground turkey 1/2 cup dry bread crumbs 1/3 cup onion, finely chopped 1/4 cup milk 1 egg 2 Tbsp. dried parsley flakes 1 tsp. poultry seasoning 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce dash of salt & pepper
12 oz. appricot preserves 1/2 cup dried cranberries Directions
milk, egg, parsley flakes, poultry seasoning, Worcestershire sauce, salt and pepper. Shape into 1-inch balls. Brown meatballs in a large non- stick skillet over medium heat until done. Remove meatballs from pan. Remove any fat from pan. Heat ketchup and apricot preserves in skillet, stirring until blended. Add dried cranberries to the sauce mixture. Add meatballs and stir until coated with sauce. Simmer uncovered 30 minutes, stirring occasionally. Yields 30-40 meatballs. |
