    Cheese Puffs

    Ingredients

    1/4 lb. grated sharp Cheddar cheese
    3 oz. cream cheese
    1/2 cup butter
    1 egg white, beaten stiffly
    1 loaf unsliced sandwich bread

    Directions

    Melt cheeses and butter in top of double boiler.  
    Cool slightly.  Fold egg white into cheese mixture.  
    Remove crusts from bread and cube to 1 1/2
    inches.  Dip cubes in cheese, coating evenly.  
    Place on ungreased cookie sheet and refrigerate
    overnight.  Bake at 400 for 12 minutes or until
    brown.  Serve immediately.
